Whether you are a beginner looking for a drift experience or a seasoned driver looking to up your game and receive coaching and spotting services we have a staff of professional instructors ready to handle your needs!

Drift Courses

Level 1, Half Day

$500 per person

Our introductory course is a half day, four hour course with four students per car and instructor. Each student is expected to receive approximately one hour of seat time split up between a variety of beginner exercises geared towards bringing you up to speed and able to control oversteer.  

Level 2, Full Day

$1000 per person

Our full day program is a full eight hour day where you will explore everything in our beginner half day program plus more advanced maneuvers later on in the day from hand brake, clutch kick, and weight transfers at speed through our training course.

Level 3, Two Day

$2000 per person

Our two day program is an all inclusive drift school providing you with the previous first full day introductory courses as well as a second day dedicated to more advanced maneuvers aimed at getting you ready for tandem.

Meet your Instructors

 
Nick Stucky's driver profile picture

Nick Stucky

Stucky has been drifting since 2005 and is one of Utah’s most notable drivers. He began in an early 1981 RX7 and eventually moved on to Miatas and S13s. Stucky has competed in Vegas Proam/Southwest Drift, many competition wins in a variety of bash event and team drift events from Super D Matsuri, Hot August Nights, Nocoast Bash, and many more. Stucky and Wicknick together have taken part in many media ventures for brands like SuperTuner, Blu E-cigarettes, and many more. Currently Stucky works out of Utah helping promote the local drift scene while helping new drivers learn the ropes at their events.

Brandon Wicknick

Brandon started drifting in 2001 when he bought his first rear wheel drive car a 1986 Toyota Corolla AE86. After 5 years of learning the ropes he got into the seat of a more powerful Nissan 240SX S13 and was hooked. After several years competing in various Pro Am drift series in the West Brandon secured a professional license through the Formula Drift PRO series. In 2013 Brandon and his crew campaigned the same 240sx that he had used for many years for an entire season. The car uses a Toyota Supra 2JZ engine with 700hp. They continued with Formula Drift through 2015 and secured 2 podium finishes including a 1st place finish. Since that time Brandon now focuses on drifting for fun which includes exhibitions, instructing, ride along experiences and filming drift videos.

Utah Motorsports Campus

Utah Motorsports Campus (UMC) is our home facility.

UMC is located just 30 minutes from Salt Lake City, near the small town of Tooele. UMC allows us the ability to offer our courses year round and teach on a variety of surface types, from open paddocks to road courses.

UMC hosts many professional race and drift series, including Formula D Prospec and Pro1.
